Every so often, someone will ask me what a Roan is.
Say Hello to Dodge. He was my “Rusted Roan”, daily inspiration, and was one of those once-in-a-lifetime horses.
When I first began creating home decor, many of my pieces and designs included his old horse shoes or retired equipment and leather.
A Roan, or “roaning” is a solid coat pattern with white hairs throughout. Below, you’ll find a couple of my roany ladies.
